Don't you just love Christmas ??
A time for reflections.
A time for connections.
A time for family.
A time to love.
A time to care.
A time for snow.
And snow is how December 2010 started, and boxing day gave me the opportunity, to explore snowy landscapes ....
Starting off at dawn, I froze in -6 0c visiting the snowy landscape of Macclesfield Forest. Thank goodness for gloves !!! Later that morning I had the opportunity to blow away all hangovers and walk off that huge Christmas dinner and visit Errwood Reservoir, in the Goyt Valley with a friend. It was good to talk and take photographs in the quiet wilderness of serenity - when everyone was probably tucking into another feast of turkey curry and drinking another drink!

To my friend - just remember if you want that shot - sometimes you have to climb over fences through snowy bracken to get it :0)
