Manchester - Testing the eye of creativity

Had a very interesting day on 30th December 2010, in and around Manchester (Castlefields & the shopping areas) with Charlotte Palazzo Photography ... 

we were really struggling with the eye of creativity .. it just wasn't there - but after a cheeky drink (dutch courage), and walking through the streets we started photographing unsuspecting people on the streets of Manchester!  This was quite an eye opener allowing us to test our skills to the max and giving us a little courage to just go for it !!!

Don't you just love Christmas ??
A time for reflections.
A time for connections.
A time for family.
A time to love.
A time to care.
A time for snow.

And snow is how December 2010 started, and boxing day gave me the opportunity, to explore snowy landscapes ....
Starting off at dawn, I froze in -6 ⁰c visiting the snowy landscape of Macclesfield Forest.  Thank goodness for gloves !!! Later that morning I had the opportunity to blow away all hangovers and walk off that huge Christmas dinner and visit Errwood Reservoir, in the Goyt Valley with a friend.  It was good to talk and take photographs in the quiet wilderness of serenity - when everyone was probably tucking into another feast of turkey curry and drinking another drink!

To my friend - just remember if you want that shot - sometimes you have to climb over fences through snowy bracken to get it :0)
